Founder, Mel Barry, has a background in the environmental and social impact sector. She partners with visual artists working in natural or reclaimed materials and who have a strong interest in nature and local community themes or outcomes. Some intergenerational events include partnerships with dancers and writers.
Independently produced group exhibitions, workshops and talks are hosted in partnerships with charities, voluntary groups and community focused venues. These partnerships promote a cause or a venue while providing creative enrichment opportunities for all walks of life.
Combing curatorial amd marketing experience with a creative streak and undergraduate studies in politics, Mel facilitates a community and societal purpose themed creativity workshop for groups adults and young people. Please enquire here
Art for your home or office
If you would like an art consultation at your home or office, a non-refundable booking fee of £100 applies for one and a half hours - including travel costs within Greater London. Somerset and Wiltshire travel included when at least 7 working days of notice is given in advance.
There is no obligation to purchase art but if it is paid for in full within 14 consecutive days from the consultation a one-off of £50 will be deducted from your first purchase of £200 or more; a one-off of £100 will be deducted from your first purchase/commission of £500 or more. By appointment.
All artists with work in the Popsy Set collection have led or participated in workshops, exhibitions or talks within the grassroots of local communities in partnership with charities, schools, voluntary groups and public venues. Group exhibitions of the work place an equal emphasis on profiling professional and emerging artists alike.

We hope that this website inspires you to get involved either as an event host, community sponsor or, regardless of your experience, a contributing artist.
